About the Role

The Audubon Aquarium of the Americas is seeking an accomplished Aquatic Life Quality Manager to lead our efforts in maintaining the highest standards of aquatic life quality. As a key member of our Curatorial Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the health and well-being of our aquatic animals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to aquatic life quality and exhibit maintenance
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement animal care and husbandry plans
  • Conduct regular inspections of exhibits and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on aquatic life quality and exhibit maintenance procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in an aquarium or zoological setting, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of aquatic life quality management, water quality control, and exhibit design and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
