Position Overview

The Network Operations Center (NOC) team serves as the core of our Support Operations division, representing an entry-level technical opportunity.

This dynamic role demands frequent shifts in focus and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. The NOC is responsible for managing all incoming requests, including support and dispatch inquiries, technical system alerts, resource coordination, and interdepartmental communication, in addition to resolving a portion of support cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary contact for various service requests.
  • Engage directly with clients as necessary.
  • Facilitate coordination among support teams to enhance communication and maximize resource utilization.
  • Monitor alert systems and respond appropriately.
  • Assist in managing the escalation process for urgent support requests.
  • Collaborate with support technicians and management to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Continuously enhance technical skills by addressing incoming support cases, paving the way for advancement into a technical support role.
  • Provide insights on opportunities to enhance process and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities, including active listening and customer care.
  • Fundamental knowledge of computers, operating systems, and applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking technologies and components, such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with support tools and techniques, and how technology is leveraged to deliver IT services.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize tasks, and adapt swiftly to changes.
  • Self-driven individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Additional Considerations:

  • Participation in after-hours rotation is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Successful completion of a drug and background screening is mandatory.
