Join Our Team as a Wellness Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wellness Nurse to join our team at Maplewood at Weston LLC. As a Wellness Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and provide direct care to residents
  • Teach and counsel residents on wellness and health promotion
  • Participate in assessments and develop care plans under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RN)
  • Support residents and their families, and provide education on health-related topics
  • Oversight of Certified Nursing Assistants and training of associates
Requirements
  • Current licensure to practice as a Wellness Nurse in the State of Massachusetts
  • Two years of full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience
  • Experience working with older adults and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, peers, and other staff members
