Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our team at the Community Health Center of Snohomish County. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, working in collaboration with other healthcare providers and support staff.
Responsibilities- Provide medical care to patients of all ages, including diagnostic and therapeutic services, in accordance with the State of Washington Department of Licensing and professional scope of practice.
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical exams, interpreting and integrating data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Consult with physicians as needed to manage acute and chronic medical needs of patients.
- Order laboratory and diagnostic procedures as necessary, synthesizing data to determine preliminary diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Interview and advise patients on health and illness prevention, recommending community resources to meet patient and family needs.
- Provide education and instruction to patients and families on medications and treatment instructions, promoting medical care through direct patient care and education.
- Identify special needs of CHC patients and work with staff to address those needs.
- Participate in Quality Improvement and Utilization Management programs and activities.
- Document encounters in an accurate and timely manner.
- Master's degree or post-Master's Certificate as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).
- Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license with prescriptive privileges in the State of Washington.
- DEA controlled substances registration.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) certification.
- Successful completion of CHC's credentialing and privileging review upon hire and re-credentialing as appropriate.
- Membership of the American Nurses Association (ANA).
- CPT-4 coding experience.
- ICD-10 coding experience.
- Healthcare information systems experience, including electronic health record and practice management systems.
- Experience in a multiple provider medical practice.
- Working with low-income, multi-ethnic populations.
