Job Overview

RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled Overnight Pharmacist to join our team at a prominent long-term care facility in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness for each patient.
  • Prepare and dispense medications, including prescription and over-the-counter drugs.
  • Monitor patient profiles and medication regimens, addressing potential drug interactions or contraindications.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of medication administration and related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education on medication use and management.
Shift and Schedule
  • Monday - Friday: 11:00pm - 7:30am
  • Every other weekend
Qualifications
  • Pharmacy experience
  • LTC experience a plus
  • Pennsylvania pharmacy license
