RPh on the Go is dedicated to providing exceptional pharmacy services across diverse settings. We are currently seeking a dedicated Overnight Pharmacist to join our team at a prominent long-term care facility in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for a skilled pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced, overnight environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality care to residents.

Job Description:

As an Overnight Pharmacist at our long-term care facility, you will be responsible for overseeing the medication management and pharmacy services during the overnight shift. Your expertise will ensure that residents receive timely and accurate medications, and you will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with regulations and facility protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify medication orders, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness for each patient.
  • Prepare and dispense medications, including prescription and over-the-counter drugs.
  • Monitor patient profiles and medication regimens, addressing any potential drug interactions or contraindications.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of medication administration and related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education on medication use and management.

Shift:

  • Monday - Friday: 11:00pm - 7:30am
  • Every other weekend

Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy experience.
  • LTC experience a plus.
  • Pennsylvania pharmacy license.
