Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Assistant to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The successful candidate will provide support to our General Surgeons in the Operating Room and assist with post-surgical care in the hospital and clinic settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist General Surgeons in the Operating Room as needed
  • Provide support with post-surgical care in the hospital and clinic settings
  • Rounding on inpatients, assisting with discharge planning, and taking phone calls about patients on the floor
  • Assist with wound checks, post-hospital care, and other related tasks
  • Work in conjunction with another NP/PA to cover 7 days a week coverage
Requirements
  • Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced hospital and clinic environment, with frequent exposure to surgical procedures and patient care. The position requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound judgments in a high-pressure environment.
