About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, handling instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision and care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during invasive procedures, handling instruments and equipment with precision and care.
  • Support the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Qualifications
  • Current Unlicensed Assistive Persons (UAP) Registration by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
  • Current Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Surgical Technologist.
  • Strong oral communication skills and ability to deal with conflict and difficult people.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and knowledge of regulatory agencies and their standards and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification for Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
