Job Overview

The MEP Superintendent will play a pivotal role in overseeing all site operations and ensuring project success. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading all subordinate superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans while tracking weekly progress.
  • Coordinating all activities at the job site to ensure smooth operations.
  • Managing labor and subcontractors to uphold quality standards and timely service delivery.
  • Fostering positive relationships with Owners, Design Consultants, and Project Managers.
  • Collaborating with local inspectors and utility representatives to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Enforcing safety protocols and managing quality control initiatives.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed short-term schedules.
  • Overseeing the invoice payment process and managing project financials.
  • Addressing daily field issues effectively.
  • Preparing daily reports detailing manpower and significant activities.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the MEP Superintendent position will possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Site Management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with MEP work on large-scale, ground-up projects.
  • OSHA certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and field personnel.
