Job Title: Millwright Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Superintendent to join our team at Kiewit Power Constructors. As a Millwright Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and assembly of rotating equipment, ensuring the safety, quality, and productivity of our operations.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and technical skills. You will be responsible for supervising a team of craft workers, planning and scheduling field operations, and ensuring compliance with erection manuals and quality procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide supervisory direction to craft workers, ensuring productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence
  • Plan, schedule, and execute field operations, ensuring compliance with erection manuals and quality procedures
  • Coordinate and interface with other superintendents and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
  • Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate
  • Ensure project rules, procedures, and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards
Requirements
  • 5+ years' work experience in precision millwright scopes of work
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
  • Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
  • Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
  • Team player with the ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
