Job Title: Assistant Vice President, Perioperations

At WellStar Health System, Inc., we are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as our Assistant Vice President, Perioperations. This key role will oversee the strategic, operational, and quality aspects of our perioperative and procedural services, ensuring seamless integration and teamwork across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize the effectiveness of perioperative and procedural services
  • Collaborate with physicians to adopt and incorporate quality and efficiency initiatives
  • Manage budgets, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Lead a matrixed team responsible for perioperative and procedural services across Wellstar Hospitals
  • Partner with administrative leadership to execute on goals and strategies
Requirements:
  • Masters in Nursing or Bachelors in Nursing with a Masters in a related field
  • GA RN (Single State) or RN Multi-state Compact license
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in a hospital/healthcare environment
  • Experience with adult and pediatric services, preferably in a large or multi-hospital system
