P2S Inc. offers an exceptional opportunity for a skilled electrical engineer to contribute to our electrical studio. The ideal candidate will possess 0-5 years of experience in designing electrical systems for both new and existing structures.
Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Design Engineering Tasks:
- Examine existing as-built drawings.
- Conduct field investigations.
- Prepare drawings and models across multiple disciplines.
- Collaborate with team members on design coordination, timelines, and deliverables.
- Execute feasibility studies.
- Create schematic designs.
Design Engineering Tasks:
- Perform energy calculations utilizing EnergyPro or IES VE.
- Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules.
- Design lighting selections and control systems.
- Design normal, emergency, and renewable power systems.
- Conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies.
- Experience with low voltage building systems (Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, Nurse Call) is advantageous.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification is preferred.
- LEED Accreditation is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Knowledge of California Building Code and National Electrical Code.
- OSHPD experience is beneficial.
- Experience with Net Zero Energy/Carbon initiatives is a plus.
