Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of software and enabling tools for our hardware engineering efforts, ensuring alignment with our defined best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive the development of new Edge and Outpost solutions, ensuring they meet the performance, reliability, and operational health requirements of our EC2, Networking, and Outpost platforms.
- Design and implement pipelines for rapid deployment of new code changes to various systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
- Develop and maintain monitoring tools and metrics to ensure hardware is running properly in both test and production environments.
Our team is comprised of experienced professionals from various backgrounds, including hardware design, system design, software development, and technical program management. We share a common goal of delivering exceptional server solutions to our customers.
Requirements- 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- 6+ years of experience deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment.
- 5+ years of experience designing or architecting systems, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.
- 5+ years of experience in systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement.
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 7+ years of experience in systems development engineering or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience in server systems debugging and root cause analysis.
- 7+ years of experience contributing to the development of durable, secure, available, and scalable systems.
