Job Summary:

Raymond James is seeking a highly skilled Lead Angular Software Engineer to join our Wealth Management technology team. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting business solutions that meet the needs of our Financial Advisors and Investors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to design and develop high-quality technical solutions.
  • Lead complex projects and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Analyze system requirements and identify program interactions and interfaces.
  • Mentor and lead developers to cultivate curiosity and deep technical understanding.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to imagine, design, develop, and test software applications.
  • Actively participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with tools, trends, technologies, and frameworks, and develop proof of concepts.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related degree.
  • 5 years of relevant experience as an application developer with 3 years of development experience as a front-end developer using Angular, TypeScript, Reactive Programming, Responsive Design, JavaScript, CSS3, SASS, and HTML5.
  • Experience with REST API integration, troubleshooting, tuning, and optimizing rendering time, memory, and network utilization.
  • Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
  • Experience working with Angular build tools and configuration (Angular CLI).
  • Understanding of the SDLC lifecycle for Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of DevOps and collaboration tools: Jenkins, GIT, TFS, Sonar.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing REST services using Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Experience working with SQL, RDBMS, MongoDB.
  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry.
