As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the embryology laboratory, ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy in our testing and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the embryology laboratory team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure the highest level of accuracy and quality in our testing and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the laboratory team to develop and implement new procedures and protocols to improve laboratory efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including CLIA and CAP.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Chemical, Physical or Biological Science.
  • NYS Department of Education Clinical Licensed Technologist (CLT) certification required within 3 years of being employed.
  • General knowledge of operation of web-based QC platforms, electronic medical records, and document control platforms.
  • Rigorous QA and QC regarding handling of specimens and extreme care and caution in labeling and handling specimens.
