About the Role

Riverside Health System is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in an acute care hospital setting. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MR exams on patients, ensuring safety in the MR environment, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Educate patients and families about the procedure and treatment to be performed.
  • Screen patients for MRI safety prior to the procedure.
  • Assist radiologists with procedure performance when required.
  • Evaluate MR scans for technical quality and sequence of exposure.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
  • Perform and evaluate equipment quality control measurements.
Requirements
  • Radiologic Technologists - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification.
  • CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) certification.
