About the Role

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team in San Francisco, Oakland, or San Jose. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating functionally beautiful spaces for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our design team to develop design solutions and coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project.
  • Brainstorm interior architecture approaches to meet the clients' needs.
  • Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting.
  • Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction.
  • Collaborate within our team structure to deliver the best work for our clients.
  • Partner with product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators to develop a knowledge of finishes and furniture.
  • Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
  • Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples.
  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school.
  • 0-5 years of interior design experience.
  • Outstanding graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas throughout the process.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, and Revit highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices.
