Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our team at Leidos in Ridgecrest, CA. As a key member of our Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactical Training Range (AEWTTR) Program, you will be responsible for providing technical support to engineers and manufacturing personnel on various projects and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, maintain, and organize technical data, including electrical, mechanical, and logical systems.
  • Create, build, assemble, install, integrate, test, troubleshoot, modify, and repair prototype and production systems related to Radar, Electronic Warfare, Instrumentation, and Communications Systems.
  • Access and manipulate databases of parts, materials, and drawings to prepare Material Requests and create/kit/process Travelers in accordance with assigned Work Packages.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 or more months of relevant experience in creating, building, assembling, installing, integrating, testing, troubleshooting, modifying, and repairing prototype and production systems.
  • Experience with specialized tools and equipment, such as Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, and Signal Generators.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret detailed electrical, mechanical, and logical line drawings, assembly drawings, schematics, and work packages.
  • Requires ability to gain electrical soldering certification.
