Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Rental Attendant to join our team at Elk Grove Park District. As a Rental Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our customers during events and activities at our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Preparation: Check the building schedule and prepare for all activities to be held for that day, including room set-ups and breakdowns.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of our facilities on a continual basis by assisting with minor custodial responsibilities, such as sweeping, mopping, and disposing of garbage.
  • Reporting and Safety: Report work orders and maintenance needs to the Rentals Services Supervisor and ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all facility uses are running smoothly and customers are served above and beyond expectations.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Certification: Must possess CPR/First Aid certification or be able to complete necessary certification in training.
  • Availability: Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekday evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Good knowledge of pertinent safety precautions and ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships with other employees.
