Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Engage in hands-on development, working with complex, cross-functional datasets and conducting detailed analyses (approximately 25% of time).
  • Output Generation: Transform analyses into a concise set of deliverables (e.g., prioritized opportunities, recommended actions) for review with key stakeholders (approximately 25% of time).
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with VBC Program Owners to design and implement a data, reporting, and analytics strategy, including a standardized measurement framework (approximately 20% of time).
  • Product Development: Collaborate with IT on the design, testing, and deployment of data products and visual analytics solutions (approximately 20% of time).
  • Administrative Duties: Manage communications, participate in team meetings, and perform related tasks (approximately 10% of time).

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare reporting within a payer or provider organization.
  • Experience analyzing data related to one or more of the following areas: Risk Coding, CMS Quality Programs, Population Health, Medical Economics, Value-Based Care Delivery, Payer Data (Eligibility, Claims, and Financial Performance), and/or Patient Attribution.
  • Experience in documenting business requirements and overseeing the delivery of visual analytics products (e.g., dashboards in Power BI).
  • Collaboration with business program owners on the design, development, and delivery of analyses (e.g., opportunity identification, program evaluation).
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a focus on complex calculations and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and R or Python.
  • Solid understanding of data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following domains: Risk Coding, CMS Quality Programs, Population Health, Medical Economics, Value-Based Care Delivery, Payer Data (Eligibility, Claims, and Financial Performance), and/or Patient Attribution.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and effectively lead/manage change initiatives.
