JOB SUMMARY

The Adult Services Therapist will provide direct patient care through assessment, development, implementation, treatment and discharge placement plans, education of individual, groups and family therapy.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide counseling services to patients with psychiatric or substance abuse issues
* Develop and implement treatment plans to meet individual patient needs
* Educate patients and their families on counseling techniques and strategies
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

**Requirements:**

* Masters degree in counseling, social work or psychology
* Licenses and certifications to provide counseling in the state of Arkansas
* Minimum of two years paid experience in psychiatric or substance abuse counseling

**Physical Demands:**

* Ability to hear normal to soft tones
* Ability to see near and distant
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Non-essential: Ability to lift 20 lbs
