About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior CPU Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Google. As a key member of our diverse and innovative team, you'll play a critical role in developing custom silicon solutions that power our direct-to-consumer products.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy tools and infrastructure to enhance the productivity of our Verification team.
  • Develop and manage regression flows for simulation, emulation, and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) platforms, including automated test generation.
  • Collaborate with the team to evaluate, benchmark, and integrate Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools into our verification flows.
  • Continuously improve our verification flows to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with verification flow infrastructure or CAD.
  • Proficiency in Python or Perl scripting languages.
  • Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as Cadence IES/Xcelium, Synopsys VCS, or Mentor Questa.
  • Experience with simulation regression and compute farm management flows/tools.
  • Experience with major vendor EDA tools/flows as well as emulation/FPGA.
  • Experience with revision control systems and automation server tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience with databases such as SQL or Oracle and interfacing with both CAD and IT teams.

Our competitive salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$223,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
