Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of customer service skills and a strong understanding of retail banking products and services. As a Customer Service Representative III, you will be responsible for acquiring, retaining, and expanding new and existing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview and profile customers to recommend appropriate banking products and services.
  • Partner with other business lines within the bank to identify sales opportunities and provide an outstanding customer experience.
  • Process complex transactions such as changing account ownership, living trusts, guardianship accounts, and estate assignments.
  • Originate consumer loans and act as a customer advocate to ensure prompt processing of consumer loans.
  • Open and close customer accounts, including checking, savings, money markets, certificates of deposit, and IRAs.
  • Take advantage of sales opportunities and cross-sell bank products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Make referrals to other business units for non-banking products.
  • Participate in sales programs to generate new customers.
Requirements
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly, positive, professional attitude.
  • Ability to maintain a thorough knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Proficiency in providing exceptional customer service utilizing the STAR qualities.
  • Ability to resolve difficult situations using the HEAL guidelines.
