This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of customer service skills and a strong understanding of retail banking products and services. As a Customer Service Representative III, you will be responsible for acquiring, retaining, and expanding new and existing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Interview and profile customers to recommend appropriate banking products and services.
- Partner with other business lines within the bank to identify sales opportunities and provide an outstanding customer experience.
- Process complex transactions such as changing account ownership, living trusts, guardianship accounts, and estate assignments.
- Originate consumer loans and act as a customer advocate to ensure prompt processing of consumer loans.
- Open and close customer accounts, including checking, savings, money markets, certificates of deposit, and IRAs.
- Take advantage of sales opportunities and cross-sell bank products and services to new and existing customers.
- Make referrals to other business units for non-banking products.
- Participate in sales programs to generate new customers.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, positive, professional attitude.
- Ability to maintain a thorough knowledge of bank products and services.
- Proficiency in providing exceptional customer service utilizing the STAR qualities.
- Ability to resolve difficult situations using the HEAL guidelines.
