Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hybrid Controller to join our team at Jobot. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accurate reporting of the company's financial performance.
  • Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop and manage budgets.
  • Manage the company's general ledger and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Reconcile all accounts and prepare financial statements for review.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • A CPA or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, audits, budgeting and forecasting, and management accounting.
  • Knowledge and experience with residential landscaping.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX regulations.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues effectively and efficiently.
