Job Summary

Tellworks Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe handling of materials in the warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in inventory management, and the ability to operate a forklift with precision and care. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for logistics, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, picking, staging, shipping, and return processing as applicable to the assigned position.
  • Supervising and directing warehouse floor personnel under the guidance of the Unit Manager.
  • Forklift maintenance and operation.
  • Filing, posting, and preparation of documents and forms.
  • Data entry into material/inventory management system.
  • Other clerical duties as required.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Prefer 2-4 years of experience.
  • Must be able to read, decode, and decipher freight coding.
  • Consistently lift, standing, bending, and rotating motions.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Basic Mathematics Skills.
  • Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government and company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to move about the warehouse to access products, and machinery and assist others.
  • Must be able to move and place cartons on pallets weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend downward using legs at the knee.
  • Must be able to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess product.
  • Must be able to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, and exchange accurate information.

Skills:

  • Basic mathematics skills (add, divide, multiply and subtract).
  • Ability to interpret instruction.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Prefer forklift skills.

Non-Physical Demands:

  • Must be reliable and dedicated to good attendance.
  • Must be adaptable to changing work tasks and workload.
  • Must be dedicated to working safely.
  • Must be dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service.
