Position Responsibilities
The Skilled Electrician, equipped with the necessary education and experience, will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during all job tasks.
- Mentor and guide apprentices as needed.
- Install GRC, EMT, and PVC conduits.
- Set up various electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Collaborate effectively within a team while also being capable of independent work when required.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
The ideal candidate must be adaptable to the following physical demands and working conditions:
- Ability to navigate the job site as necessary.
- Capable of lifting equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
- Proficient in operating various technological devices, including computers.
- Occasional need to climb ladders or stairs.
