Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply of materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for requesting and tracking samples, creating deposit letters, placing orders, processing order confirmations, checking invoice inquiries, executing buyouts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective supply of materials to job sites.

  • Request and track samples.
  • Create deposit letters.
  • Place orders, process order confirmations, and check invoice inquiries.
  • Execute buyouts.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective supply of materials to job sites.
  • Order additional materials as requested by Project Coordinators.
  • Track orders and request Proof of Delivery (POD), Bill of Lading (BOL), and Packing Lists.
  • File material claims.
  • Manage attic stock.
  • Dispute charges and fees.

Key Responsibilities include working with a sense of urgency, being proficient in data entry, having excellent facilitation and organizational skills, and being able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have strong customer service orientation, experience in strategic sourcing and financial management, analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

You should also be able to multitask and resolve multiple inquiries in order of priority, handle private and confidential information with physical and ethical care, and demonstrate outstanding work ethic and commitment to individual and organizational success.
