Job Title: Environmental Services Specialist II

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Specialist II to join our team at West Tennessee Healthcare. As a key member of our Environmental Services Department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning procedures according to written guidelines and departmental standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Champion customer service initiatives and continuously monitor patient feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Ability to perform cleaning procedures according to written guidelines and departmental standards.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and to follow all safety protocols and procedures.
