Job Summary

As an Ultrasound Imaging Specialist at Baptist Memorial Health Care, you will play a vital role in aiding in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease by performing imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines.
  • Perform imaging procedures/treatments, ensuring optimal results and patient safety.
  • Maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care meets established standards.
Requirements
  • Registered by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire date.
  • Recent experience as a Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
