About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Floor Care Technician to join our team at Encompass Onsite. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine floor maintenance, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and shampooing of hard surfaces and carpets.
  • Vacuum, shampoo, and extract carpets, stairwells, and upholstery.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Proactively plan work schedules to complete daily tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Report any needed repairs or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.

Requirements:

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the general public.
  • Previous floor care experience is highly preferred.
  • Valid Florida Driver's license.
