Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and student-centered educator to join our team as an Adjunct Faculty in Sport Management. The successful candidate will create a charismatic and professional learning environment for students of diverse learning backgrounds.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Sport Management courses at the Romeoville (Main), Oak Brook, and/or Albuquerque campuses.
  • Prepare course materials, syllabi, and update Blackboard course shells.
  • Participate in required University and College activities, trainings, and certifications.
  • Provide support and guidance to students.
  • Cooperate with department chairs or other program faculty to assure quality and consistency across the program.
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in the chosen or related discipline is required.
  • Possesses excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • All hired adjunct faculty must successfully complete the Lewis University Online Teaching Certification Program.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Sport Administration/Management.
  • Candidates are preferred to have a minimum of ten years in mid to senior management positions.
  • Candidates are preferred to provide evidence of prior quality teaching and/or training experiences.
Work Environment

Part-time; adjunct positions at Lewis University are teaching positions and may instruct one or two courses each semester on an "as needed" basis.
