Role Summary:
As a Maintenance Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for establishing both long-term and short-term enhancement strategies for the Maintenance teams under your supervision. You will lead the Maintenance staff, develop and implement equipment reliability initiatives, manage budgets within your areas of responsibility, and oversee the growth of maintenance personnel. You will also lead technical troubleshooting efforts as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the daily activities of maintenance personnel, including distributing planned tasks, deploying suitable staff for urgent repairs, monitoring work completion and quality, addressing safety concerns, and scheduling overtime as needed.
2. Collaborate with the Manufacturing Team Leader and team members to diagnose equipment problems and formulate action plans to prevent future occurrences.
3. Create and implement strategies to enhance maintenance systems.
4. Provide continuous constructive feedback and conduct annual performance evaluations for maintenance staff.
5. Lead root cause analysis for equipment downtime incidents.
6. Engage in training and other professional development opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance
- Familiarity with PLC systems
The target salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $47,600 and $79,800.
Individual salary will depend on work location and various factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total compensation may include additional forms of remuneration. We also offer competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits starting on the first day of employment.
