Patient Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Technician to join our team at Apria Healthcare. As a Patient Service Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering and picking up medical equipment from homecare patients, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and pick up medical equipment from homecare patients, setting up equipment and instructing patients on its use.
- Schedule and organize daily deliveries and pickups according to geographic territory, loading and unloading equipment and supplies onto delivery vehicles.
- Comply with all applicable regulatory requirements, including maintaining accurate records and adhering to hours of service, daily log, and vehicle inspection regulations.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Notify supervisor of any concerns or issues related to patient safety or equipment functionality.
- Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma required.
- At least one year of related work experience required.
- Valid driver's license and successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program required.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 160 pounds, and push or pull objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
