Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the ambulatory setting, including administration of treatments and medications, and performing various medical and nursing procedures.
- Collect and document patient clinical historical and assessment data, and analyze assessment data to determine health status and nursing diagnoses.
- Develop patient-centered plans of care that prescribe interventions to attain expected outcomes, and partner with patients to set individualized goals.
- Implement interventions identified in the plan of care, and educate patients and families to facilitate and promote healthy adjustment to new or changed health patterns.
- Collaborate with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans of care, and participate in site and organizational quality and performance improvement activities.
- A Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is highly preferred; a Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing requires a minimum of one year experience in conjunction with plans to earn a baccalaureate degree required.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York, Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association, Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
- OB/GYN and/or Women Health Experience needed.
