Position Overview:
As a key member of our radiology team, the Senior Radiologic Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services while adhering to the highest standards of professionalism and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Radiologic Procedures:**
- Execute radiologic procedures in compliance with departmental protocols, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.

2. **Supervision and Training:**
- Oversee the activities of radiographers, students, and support staff, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality standards.
- Provide comprehensive training in radiographic techniques, particularly in Pediatric and Fluoroscopy imaging, fostering a supportive learning environment.

3. **Equipment Management:**
- Maintain and manage all radiologic equipment, demonstrating proficiency in digital technologies.
- Report any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for timely resolution.

4. **Quality Assurance:**
- Regularly assess and update examination and safety protocols to align with industry best practices.
- Ensure the availability of necessary supplies to meet operational demands.

5. **Effective Communication:**
- Foster a collaborative atmosphere by communicating effectively with team members, medical staff, and other departments.
- Coordinate emergency and unscheduled procedures efficiently.

6. **Fluoroscopy and Pediatric Imaging:**
- Demonstrate expertise in the setup and execution of all relevant procedures, maintaining accurate logs and records.
- Review and refine departmental protocols on an annual basis or as needed.

7. **RIS/PACS Proficiency:**
- Exhibit competence in Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), assisting in the training of staff on these systems.

8. **Attendance and Reliability:**
- Uphold a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality, ensuring consistent and reliable performance.

9. **Preceptorship:**
- Assess and address the learning needs of new staff, providing structured orientation and feedback throughout their training period.

Qualifications:
Required:
1. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
2. Current CPR certification and ARRT certification within three months of hire.
3. Minimum of two years of clinical experience.

Preferred:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
2. Three years of clinical experience, with at least one year in a leadership capacity.
