We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Novant Health. As a CRNA, you will provide professional, competent anesthesia care to a wide variety of patients, from pediatric to geriatric populations, requiring surgical, obstetrical, and other anesthesia services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, and other procedures
- Utilize skills obtained through additional training, education, and/or experience in the provision of anesthesia care to patients with complex and unique anesthetic requirements
- Work primarily in Community Medical Centers and provide needed coverage to other Community Medical Centers, ASCs, HOPDs, and Tertiary Medical Center with Multispecialty Trauma Services & multiple NORA (Non-operating room anesthesia) sites as directed by NH Anesthesia Leadership
- Take call from home as part of the facility scheduling model (call exemption is subject to leader discretion) and will float to other facilities as needed due to staffing needs
- BSN, MSN, DNP, and/or graduate diploma level certification required
- Graduate from both an Accredited School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia
- Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA) as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and recognized by the state of practice as a CRNA
- Must meet minimum continuing education requirements every four years of the NBCRNA, required
