Position Overview
As a Senior Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation and management of tax provisions, returns, payments, and reports while maintaining an accurate tax database for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and prepare comprehensive tax schedules and ensure timely submission of tax returns.
2. Address complex tax challenges and rectify any discrepancies arising from prior tax filings.
3. Identify potential tax savings opportunities and propose strategies to enhance profitability.
4. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations for all clients.
5. Provide strategic advice to management regarding tax liabilities and the implications of corporate strategies or new tax legislation.
6. Oversee and coordinate outsourced tax preparation activities.
7. Accurately compile quarterly and annual tax reports.
8. Stay informed on tax legislation changes and industry trends through continuous education, professional networking, and relevant publications.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting.
- CPA or EA certification is required.

This is a permanent role.
Work Arrangement
This position offers a hybrid work model, combining on-site and remote work.
Work Environment
Enjoy a flexible work schedule outside of peak tax season, with extended hours expected during tax season. Compensation is competitive, ranging from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience.
