Position Summary:
Eide Chrysler St Cloud is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Field Automotive Technician to become a part of our dynamic team. This role is ideal for technicians who prefer a more flexible work environment, away from the traditional shop setting. Our focus is on performing straightforward recalls and minor maintenance tasks with our mobile service, allowing you to engage in what we call "The Gravy Work." This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary along with commission incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle repairs and maintenance both at the dealership and at various remote sites.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical problems across a range of vehicle makes and models.
- Clearly communicate vehicle issues and suggested repairs to customers in a professional manner.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and management to meet repair deadlines.
- Achieve productivity and efficiency targets set by the dealership.
- Complete repair orders and documentation accurately.
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
