Key Responsibilities
  • Interview clients to assess their needs and develop personalized service plans
  • Identify problems and provide counseling to clients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case records and prepare written reports of services, findings, and actions
  • Collaborate with community partners, including courts, schools, and other agencies, to provide comprehensive support services
  • Provide information and referrals to clients regarding available resources and facilities
  • Perform work with agencies such as juvenile and domestic relations courts, circuit courts, and other community partners
  • Verify data and assist clients in making arrangements for various services
  • Respond to crisis situations in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a Human Services setting
  • Valid driver's permit issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, respond effectively to inquiries, and present information to groups
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
