Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the individual needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including cardiac conditions and serious complex conditions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current Maryland Registered Nurse License.
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
  • 2+ years of experience in the area of clinical expertise.
  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college).
