Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and function as an advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms and develop patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes.
  • Assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, and develop and implement patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current Maryland Registered Nurse License.
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
  • 2+ years of experience in the area of clinical expertise.
  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college).
