About This Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Senior Interior Designer to join our team in Los Angeles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design efforts for all stages of a project, including leadership with the client, contractors, and internal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design efforts for all stages of a project, including leadership with the client, contractors, and internal team.
  • Assist in management of projects through developing project scope, schedules, job production, quality, and fee management.
  • Lead programming, conceptualization, development, and integration of strategic design solutions.
  • Consult with manufacturers, research, and evaluate materials.
  • Document architectural drawings.
  • Assist in construction administration, including responding to RFI's, preparing sketches and addendums (CCD's), and visiting the construction site to gather information and/or prepare a punch list.
  • Oversee the design work of others to ensure integrated and cohesive design, supervise preparation of drawings for all project phases, and ensure guidelines, quality control, standards, and details.
  • Lead all phases of the design process, including programming and developing workplace standards.
  • Mentor junior staff and participate in performance coaching.
  • Participate in the recruitment and interviewing process as requested.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience, with experience in the Healthcare sector preferred.
  • LEED AP preferred, with Architectural or Interior Design registration required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign programs.
