About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a Per Diem Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in an outpatient care setting, providing comprehensive care to patients with physical dysfunction secondary to disability, disease, or injury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform therapy examinations and develop treatment plans and goals in accordance with professional standards of practice and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Apply interventions to a variety of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age, including those with orthopedic, oncology, and neurological diagnoses.
  • Deliver comprehensive care in an outpatient setting, including experience with low complex medical patients.
  • Collaborate with the rehab manager or supervisor to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice in Connecticut.
  • Successful completion of minimum educational requirements for licensure, including all clinical practice and comprehensive examinations.
  • Experience delivering comprehensive care in an outpatient setting to patients with physical dysfunction secondary to disability, disease, or injury.
  • CPR/AED certification.
