Position Overview:
As a key member of our service team, the Mixologist is committed to delivering exceptional experiences for our patrons by expertly crafting and serving a diverse range of premium alcoholic and mixed beverages in accordance with established guidelines.

Compensation:
$17.00 per hour, plus tips.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all bartending tasks, including cash and credit transactions, garnishing, setup, ordering, stocking, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness in line with bartending protocols and management directives.
  • Engage with guests to ensure their satisfaction by providing prompt and friendly service of all beverages.
  • Monitor guest behavior in accordance with alcohol awareness policies to prevent overconsumption and adhere to protocols for managing intoxicated patrons.
  • Maintain a sufficient supply of ice, glassware, and other bar essentials as per established standards.
  • Utilize Point of Sale systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Current certification in alcohol awareness, such as TIPS or LEADS.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of comprehensive bartending experience is required.

Workplace Conduct:

  • Wear approved non-slip footwear while on duty.
  • Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and operational protocols.

  • Exhibit a collaborative spirit and a proactive approach to supporting operational needs.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in mixed drink recipes, serving standards, and safety practices related to bartending.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with guests.
  • Ability to communicate in basic English for effective job performance.
  • Capable of reading and understanding written instructions and policies in English.
  • Skilled in using Point of Sale systems for transaction processing.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting and moving of items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Regular standing and walking throughout the restaurant.
  • Ascending and descending stairs as needed.
  • Frequent hand and wrist movements.
  • Regular bending and stooping to serve beverages and clear tables.
