About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Overhead Door Loading Dock Technician to join our team at Alta Equipment Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing commercial dock levelers, overhead doors, garage doors, high-speed doors, and gates.

Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and repair commercial dock levelers, overhead doors, garage doors, high-speed doors, and gates
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with mechanical and electrical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as an Overhead Door Loading Dock Technician
  • Clean driver's license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial dock levelers, overhead doors, garage doors, high-speed doors, and gates
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
