Private Duty Nurse LVN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LVN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage patient care plans in accordance with physician orders and medical guidelines.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
- Home health experience.
