Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

Ridgeway Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. As a skilled nursing professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents in achieving their highest level of independence and well-being.
  • Make rounds and provide report to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing training of staff to maintain a high level of care.
  • Chart nurses' notes in a clear and descriptive manner, reflecting the care provided and the resident's response.
  • Respond to and monitor care issues and changes in condition, communicating with physicians and other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Supervise and instruct nursing assistants in provision of care, ensuring prompt response to call lights.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers during visits and examinations.
  • Communicate new or updated orders for rehabilitation therapies and provide resident care, including administering medication and treatment.
  • Report significant findings or changes in condition and potential concerns to the Director of Nursing.
  • Protect residents' rights, privacy, and property.
Requirements:
  • Current California LVN license.
  • 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
