About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Audience Development Manager to join our team at the Seattle Children's Theatre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales, shaping audience experiences, and making a lasting impact in the world of theatre for young audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales and Audience Development: Develop and execute ticket sales strategies, including single ticket sales and group sales, to increase revenue and grow our audience.
  2. Reporting and Analysis: Analyze data and track campaign performance to inform future sales and marketing strategies.
  3. Ticket Office and Customer Service: Ensure seamless interactions between our audiences and the Ticket Office, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  4. Team Management: Guide and support our Field Trip Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of our ticket sales and customer service processes.
  5. Event Planning: Coordinate and execute special events, such as opening night invitations, to enhance the overall experience for our audiences.
Requirements
  1. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in nonprofit marketing, sales, or fundraising, with a strong background in theatre or the performing arts.
  2. Sales Savvy: Proven track record of driving sales and a strong understanding of dynamic pricing and capacity reporting.
  3. Detail-Oriented: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the role.
  4. People Person: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  5. Tech Skills: Proficiency in Tessitura and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  6. Team Player: A collaborative and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to contribute to the success of the team.
