Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all technological endpoints including computers, servers, networks, and mobile devices.
- Manage vulnerabilities and ensure timely security updates across all endpoints.
- Deploy new systems using SCCM/Autopilot and configure workstations for optimal performance.
- Administer Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and oversee user permissions within Active Directory.
- Track help desk inquiries and provide effective troubleshooting and resolution.
- Engage in contract discussions, budget management, and procurement in alignment with established policies while maintaining an inventory of essential components.
- Keep comprehensive documentation for hardware and software assets, network schematics, operational protocols, and change records.
- Ensure regular backup procedures are in place and monitored.
- Adhere to corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding IT usage, procurement, security measures, data backups, and electronic waste management.
- Administer the Avaya VoIP telecommunication system.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to support remote operations.
- Execute special projects or additional tasks as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior IT capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networking, mobile technology, and Microsoft applications including Windows 10 & 11, Server 2016+, O365, Teams, and Active Directory.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Capability to learn and support emerging technologies.
- Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and working independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Hyper-V, Forscout, Tanium, Carbon Black, Global Protect, Intune, SCCM, Meraki, Cherwell, and PrinterLogic.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires frequent sitting and the use of hands for operating computer equipment and telecommunication devices. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching are necessary. The ability to lift and/or move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds is required for installations and setups. Specific vision capabilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
The position is situated in a standard office setting with a moderate noise level. The work schedule typically consists of 40 hours per week, with flexibility based on business needs.
