Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive innovation ideas and propose a forward-looking advanced technology and analytics roadmap that enables the firm's key initiatives and long-term strategy.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for AI/ML-driven solutions.
  • Lead a small team in designing, testing, tuning, and deploying machine learning that turns data into actionable insights and/or automation solutions.
  • Communicate and educate leadership on advanced analytics and emerging technology concepts and the art of the possibility.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and the board on the progress and impact of advanced analytics and emerging technology solutions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related field is required; a Master's degree or PH.D preferred.
  • 5+ years of related IT, Machine Learning or Data Scientist role, with experience in the financial services sector a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques and statistical concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop insights that drive investment decisions and product innovation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
